In 2004 productions began inside the longest running woman-owned boxing gym in the U.S. Seven amateur women boxers came togther to find out what faceing their fears and risking possibility would mean as they trained for thier first tournament.

Up close and personal, filmmaker Joannd Kohler, followed the team as they trained, learned to work together, and discovered who they were inside and outside of the ring. This two and a half year production premiered in the spring of 2007.
