Experience

For two and a half years Joanna served as the Coordinator for the Twin Cities Youth Media Network (TCYMN), a network of 17 youth media organizations in Minneapolis and St. Paul. Joanna has been teaching youth digital media storytelling since 1999. Working with youth is a natural result after getting her start in filmmaking as a young person involved in a youth media organization. Helping young people to tell their own stories through media is a passion that extends from her belief that youth need meaningful ways to particiapte and express themselves in community.
